I wont answer to the problem below, but instead give you the hint that you can't build it anyway ;-)

gdbproxy contains a secret ingredience, that is, the core of the JTAG routines for the debugging features of the MSP430. (you can get access to those sources by signing an NDA with TI)

gdbproxy is based on rproxy a BSD licenced GDb "server" we wanted to make as much as possible as open source its therefore availabe with our enhancements (thanks Steve!) on our CVS. however the msp430 specific parts cannot be pubished. but thanks to an agreement with TI we are able to provide you binaries (for some platforms, those that we have 'secure' access to...)
