Using the latest windows binary build, there is clearly an issue of case sensitivity in gnu/msp430 make. Since Windows is case insensitive shouldn't make have been built with the 'HAVE_CASE_INSENSITIVE_FS' option??
I don't have the sources or means to build it so I'm only guessing a bit? regards, Ian
