firstly let me wish you all a happy and successful New Year 2004.
I found a minor bug in the installer for the Windows version of
msp430-jtag.exe:
The folder "docs" isn't generated during install process, so there is an
error message when the proper directory stucture isn't present before
installation. This is only valid for "docs", the other directories are
properly generated.
