Things *partially* work by adding a few quotations. Making everything
work is another matter. The whole GNU tool chain is filled with things
that are intolerant of spaces in file names. That is why I said it would
require several man years of work to go through everything and make
things work solidly with spaces in names. I was not joking. I spent a
day or two on this this last year before I fully understood the scale of
the problem. I gave up at that point.
