Has anyone here done so? Is there a better place to ask about use of
the MSP430 and gEDA?
There is nothing MSP430 specific about gEDA. Try the gEDA list. I added a few MSP430 outlines to the gEDA database a long time ago, but I can't remember which ones.
_grin_, aha. Was suprised to find the MSPs symbols are in the there.

Anyone tried the gschem2pcb and the "new" autorouting function of
"DJ Delorie"? and in general ever produced a pcb, does it work (more or
less?).

Why isn't there a standard symbol and footprint file format, grrrr.
Manuf. could draw the parts and publish it. Every damn sw package
should be able to import it. Also libs containing
ordernr for farnell, rs et al. would be really be a killer
feature for me ;-) (BOM goest into the order...).

Time for a "free" electronic part format (in XML ofcourse)?

PS. Anyone knows a source for _cheap_ 0603 resistor set (10-20/value >E24)?

Steve
