Hello from Gregg C Levine Actually you just explained why that daft Fedora based system keeps loading those drivers. It's because the folks at Red Hat, refuse to believe that people only use one specific printer type. Namely USB attached in your case. They fondly believe that people will persistently, and constantly use parallel based printers. You can disable that, by appropriately adjusting the printer configuration settings. And don't forget to log your complaint via their bug reporting system. And anyway, all of the Fedora based versions of Linux from them, are a replacement for the regular Red Hat branded systems that we know and don't always appreciate. ------------------- Gregg C Levine hansolofal...@worldnet.att.net ------------------------------------------------------------ "The Force will be with you...Always."
