Hi,
I've recognized my msp430-gdbproxy not supporting my FG439 . It worked
sometimes a bit but only for generic purposes like data examining etc.
but couldn't stepi, monitor identify, monitor erase etc.. So I've been
searching for comments or erratas and (most important) updates for a
pretty while until I found that e-mail from Steve (2004-07-21). He wrote
he had put a new version at ftp://ftp.opencall.org/pub/msp430-gdbproxy
but this server didn't appear to be up or reachable tonight. Can anyone
tell me where I can find this stuff. He also wrote (in another e-mail)
about patches for binutils (on the same server), libc and gcc which
finally looked a bit confusing to me:
In mspgcc-SF CVS repository binutils is no longer maintained so is
everything (except for that patch) in the official gnu-versions?
To which versions do the current mspgcc-SF CVS revisions of libc and
gcc_current (which contains the G439 changes) correspond?
Do the results of these versions still work together with my old
gdb5.1.1 build (used debug symbols or whatever) or should I better check
out this ("...a bit closer to working with GDB 6.0") gdb_current version
with gdb 6.0?
