as mentioned in the other thread, the supply levels of the JTAG and VCC of the MSP430 have to match closely. many, many problems with the JTAG come from a bad supply (limited current, different levels, bad ground connection, different ground levels (the PC's GND is usualy connected to EARTH, as a scope is, but maybe your supply not, or using a different plug)).

So at the moment I can download the programm and try to debug with messages on LCD-Display...

BTW: I tried to do the same on linux, but Eclipse cann't configure the debugger (but there I have DDD).

I've got the feeling that I know enough about the things behind the stage...
