Jonas, If nothing helps, take binutils-2.15 from GNU site, take my patches from "patches" section of this project, apply binutils patch to binutils-2.15 and work. This is the way we are doing onsite. Have a nice work. Dmitriy Korovkin

Hi, I'm trying to compile for the MSP430x1611 device. I have rebuilt my toolchain today with latest from cvs. I used binutils-2.15 and gcc-3.2.3. Problem is, that I get a "unknown MCU" error when I try to compile a file for the msp. It looks like I miss the linker script for this device. There has been some messages in the list about this. Dmitry stated that 1611 is supported in binutils-2.15, but that's not the case. (msp430all.sh doesn't contain 1611). I found a newer version of msp430all.sh in the binutils cvs, but it's not enough to replace this file in 2.15 with the new version. I think I miss some other files. So, what files are required to get the linker script for the 1611-part? Is there an easy way to get these (a patch?), or will I have to download from cvs?
