It keept the debug configuration from the "Run" -> "Debug..." -> "C/C++ Local" -> "myProject" configuration. But every time I enter "Project" -> "Proberties" -> "C/C++ Make Project" everything has gone again. Now I reinstalled everything from scratch the x-th time and surprisingly it works now and finally I have a mspgcc debugger. What a hard birth. It seems that it is neccessary to have a working cygwin environment as described some messages ago. ciao Michael
