I think your problem belongd to eclipser setup problems. Sometimes its
not so easy - specialy with mixing zip-files. Be aware to get the sugested
versions put together.
I have this setup, up and running with remote debugging - all in eclipse,
thanks to some help earölie in this list. So be assured: it can work. But
I needed some re-instalation, plus I can do livestream setup via
software-update, I think it helps. (Do you have a firewall blocking your
network access?)
For Eclipse: Can you switch to a C++-Perspective?
