 TI announced them in a press release back in August. Around that time some
third party developers already had received information about the new
architecture in order to update their products. I think the official release
is set up for TI's ATC2005 conferences starting next month, so sampling for
plain vanilla customers should begin by then (but we all know how this is
it. ;o) There is a MSP430X specific seminar in the program:
