I believe CCE works like Eclipse with mpsgcc.... with Eclipse and mspgcc you use msp430-gdbproxy to connect to the target and msp430-gdb to connect to Eclipse. These two programs communicate via sockets. I believe these socket connections are what is caught by ZoneAlarm.
I assume that gdb430.exe is roughly equivalent to msp430-gdb.exe and ti_targetserver_manager.exe is equiv to msp430-gdbproxy.exe. If you were to run. You would run into the same issues with non-eclipse gnu tools. I doubt TI is trying to track everyone's debugging sessions. jim On Sun, 2005-10-23 at 18:07 +0800, Ren-Chieh Kung wrote: > Hi, > Does anyone know why? > I am using CCE V1.0 with MSP-FETP430IF V1.3 in Win XP > pro. > I found there are 3 new programs are added into > running processes. > They are gdb430.exe, javaw.exe, and > ti_targetserver_manager.exe. > I am using ZoneAlarm V6.0. > When I tried to block these programs to access the > internet, > only javaw.exe could be blocked. > Trying to block the other 2 programs will cause the > Launching error (failed > launching debugger). > Does this mean the TI is monitoring the using of CCE? > Thanks. > > > ___________________________________________________ 郔陔唳 Yahoo!藻撈r籵 7.0 > betaㄛ轎愐鋒繚斕湖ㄐ http://messenger.yahoo.com.tw/beta.html > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email is sponsored by the JBoss Inc. > Get Certified Today * Register for a JBoss Training Course > Free Certification Exam for All Training Attendees Through End of 2005 > Visit http://www.jboss.com/services/certification for more information > _______________________________________________ > Mspgcc-users mailing list > Mspgcc-users@lists.sourceforge.net > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mspgcc-users -- jim <jbing...@ieee.org>
