Hi, I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. Have a look in the mspgcc-users archives and look for: MSP430F2131 "Could not erase the Flash". Be aware, this type of MCU is not fully supported yet! I had a lot of trouble, and I still have. But keep on going!
