Hi All,

I have been working on a patch for gcc-4.0.2, and have it compiling now, although I have some problems with the machine description file and optimisations. I would like to put these into the public cvs so maybe someone who knows how to fix it could, or when I get the chance Ill have a go at figuring out how to fix the machine description file.

I also have done some work on binutils to implement Dmitry's suggestion in the email "[Mspgcc-users] binutils and missing devices." of 2005-08-23. This should make adding new devices much easier, with only a need to change the compiler, and add it to msp430-libc.

I have some patches to make msp430-libc4 (I assume the proto for using with gcc-4) to make it compile.

Could I get access to the cvs to put these and a few of the other changes I have so that every one can have access to them.

The fix for compiling gdb and gcc with gcc-4 machines could also go in.

I would also like to update the doc's with the the status of the various gcc version, to make it clear to use gcc-3.2.3 and that gcc-4 is work in progress.

Regards,
