Hi all,

just like to let you know (if not known already) that some of my Anti-Virus, Anti-Worm, Anti-Spyware programs pop up and shout to me that

C:\Programme\mspgcc\bin\msp430-downloader.exe

seems to be a worm "Worm.RJump.a"

Since I do not believe that the MSPGCC-dev group has any interest to hack my computer nor to steal all my intellectual properties (for sure there are gigabytes full of intellectual properties ;) ) there are two possibilities.

1. The Anti-Spy-Software is wrong
If so I can easily ignore the pop up messages. However, just one wrong click during the pop up message and msp430-downloader will be deleted. Furthermore, it might happen to other users and they may not take care to much and delete the file.

I do not know whether one has to inform the anti-spy software companies or what to change in msp430-downloader.exe to help here. I assume since msp430-downloader is a "Send-me-data-on-a-special-way"-App it looks close to a worm.

2. My file got infected really. For that it would be interesting to know if you have the same experience then me for this particular file

If not one of this f*cking worms hit me
If yes goto point 1 ;)

Bye
Torsten
