Hello,

We are trying to use the MSP430F2013. Using the latest version of
msp430-gdbproxy from the sourceforge site (we want to run it on Linux
but also tried on Windows), we are not able to program or debug the
chip. After invoking msp430-gdbproxy in the usual way, we get a message
saying that gdbproxy was unable to detect the chip, or the chip is not
supported. When using a MSP430F2121 with an otherwise identical
configuration, it works as expected.

We are using the TI parallel port JTAG interface.

Has anyone else used the MSP430F2013 with msp430-gdbproxy, and are there
any special tricks to getting it to work? Or is there some other way in
which we could program the chip?

I note, after browsing the list archives, that someone has recently
discussed a workaround for linking for the MSP430F2013, but no mention
was made there of how to actually program it.

Many thanks for any advice.
