Hello James,
Thanks for the advice! I stopped playing around with 4-wire JTAG and I
decided to modify the serial JTAG programmer to support SBW. Luckily TI
has updated their Replicator Project sources:
http://focus.ti.com/mcu/docs/mcusupporttechdocsc.tsp?sectionId=96&tabId=1502&abstractName=slaa149b
It now includes a subimplementation that implements SBW. I substituted
the relevant files (LowLevelFunctionsSBW.* and JTAGfuncsSBW.*) in the
serialJTAG firmware source and modified (or rather hacked) a few things
to make it fit in again...and, amazingly.... IT WORKED INSTANTLY!! :))))
Regards,
Stephan.

Stephan,
I've tried to use the 4-wire JTAG on a F2013 using TI's USB programmer
(MSP-FET430UIF) and it doesn't work either, with any of the available
toolsets. I had to switch to the new 2-wire interface to be able to
program the part.
Cheers,
James

Do you have any experience with programming the F2013 (or similar)
processors using the Serial JTAG interface or do you see what I am doing
wrong?
