Hello All:

I know of the patch Oleg Verych for making the eZ430 device as a serial
USB device and I got it to be detected successfully. I could provide
further details on request.

But now I would like to use it. So for example I could use the msp430
gdbproxy with it. The problem here is that almost all the documentation
I've seen refers to parallel jtag tool and some little explanations about
FET430UIF, which could have been useful. Regarding this I saw this thread:
http://www.nabble.com/USB-FET-for-Linux-t1854102.html which unfortunately
leaves unanswered.

So my problem is that I have a USB serial device and I don't know how to
connect to, either using gdbproxy(debugging) or jtag(programming). I don't
even know if this is possible.

I also checked the source code from msp430 repository but since there are
binary only parts I don't know if I failed to find it or it was not
available.

Any information or ideas shedding light here will be well appreciated.

  Regards,
