hi all,
i dont't have any solution for this problem but i also know this problem.
sometimes i can step trough some lines of code without having
problems and sometimes gdb proxy starts with the -1 steps output - (yes
- it's the same code).
if gdb proxy has started with this behaviour it will loop there forever.
i haven't found out the origin of the problem yet.
so, a solution or hint woultd be great...
thanks,
matthias

any suggestions?
While the debugger may appear to hang it may just as well spin
(I suspect you're polling some variable for it to change its value)
at some point of your program. What's the output when you interrupt
(^C) GDB when that happens ?
Cheers,
