thanks for the good news. Could you please check the following wiki [1]
and update the information you have. I guess it is a long time out of
date all ready. The admin of this webpage is a quite nice guy and I
guess he will be happy to get some help to extend the wiki. Just to make
sure, there are maybe other wikis in the net. I don't know at which the
community should focus but maybe it make sense to concentrate on a
single wiki instead of spreading a lot of wikis around which only cover
partially the topics and which contain out-of-date infos.
Does someone has an overview of wikis for the msp430 in general and
particular the mspgcc ?
If people like I will try to contact the admin of the website [2] and
ask him to extend the wiki to achive a better community support.

you need to use the patch at
http://www.cygwin.com/ml/insight/2005-q3/msg00021/cyg-tcl-sehfix.diff to
build insight-6.0 on cygwin.
