Good idea! On monday I will go to my boss and tell him, that everything
we've done before was crap and that Freescale will do it better...

Why not? If you'll show that it's cheaper, faster to market, easier
debug etc., it may happen.
Freescale gives out all the debug and JTAG/BDM info for it's small scale
and midrange chips,
it makes development a pleasure. Otherwise, good luck fighting with TI,
I wash my hands...
