hi guys, its me again: I try to figure out the differences between the msp430-jtag and the msp430-gdbproxy. there is nothing to find about in the www. the only thing i could find was " that the msp430-jtag should be faster than the msp430-gdbproxy " but in my case the msp430-gdbproxy (version 0.7.1) its quite fast.
a *.elf file with 26.5kByte needs to be written in the target by the msp430-gdbproxy 15.7seconds. using an OLIMEX JTAG cable + msp430gdbproxy (version 0.7.1 from the download area at http://mspgcc.sourceforge.net/) is that much faster with the msp430-jtag program??? so if one of this files is "better" which one is the right choice? msp430-jtag or the msp430-gdbproxy? both do use the JTAG interface. msp430-gdbproxy works fine. should i change to msp430-jtag? thanks for your help greetings >Raphael
