Hi Roberto, I did make a patch for binutils 2.19 to add in the MSP430X patch and newer devices, it needs some testing. If you would like to do some testing that would be excellent.
binutils 2.18 will not compile out of the box (with the msp patches) with newer gcc (which is what newer linux distributions have). If the binutils 2.19 tests ok, we could then push the changes back into the main binutils tree, so we don't have to maintain patches anymore.
