Hi Phil,

take a look at http://www.elprotronic.com/download.html. There is a tool
that flashes the upper memory under windows. Currently I do not have a
solution for linux machines.

Best regards,
Gerald

An: GCC for MSP430 - http://mspgcc.sf.net
Betreff: [Mspgcc-users] Loading and debugging 430X programs

Gentle folk,
Based on the recent very helpful discussion on this list I've downloaded and
built myself an MSP430X toolchain that seems to be compiling workable code
(with -mdata-64k specified) for the MSP430F2418. In the process I've
discovered and worked around some issues with function pointers, but
basically it is looking good. However, I haven't yet worked out how to load
(and debug?) programs which extend above 64k. Which tool are others using
for this? The Windows msp430-gdbproxy which I'm using seems to give up at
0x10000. Thanks in advance for any pointers phil
