Excellent. You can check with WSim (wsim.gforge.inria.fr and on Github) which is reasonably authentic for Telos.B or ICLBSN, and it allows attaching GDB's remote interface. Typical OSes would be MANTIS OS or Contiki. I'm not so sure about TinyOS as I never bothered to check if/how the TinyOS build process (nesC language) uses (or not) MSPGCC.
