We have absolutely no profile management where I work. The user data is everywhere with no limits and complicating everything from desktop migrations down. This is a hospital environment with hospitals in 3 different states all connected with good WAN. Each hospital has it's own data center. We are at a point now where we want to put in place redirected folders and move all that user data central to the corporation.
Do any of you have experience moving 25000 users and 10000 desktops from the wild west to Nirvana and what did you learn along the way? Is there a tool you can deploy to move this data or did you just roll through group policy and move it that way? Is there a user profile management tool that you have used that made your life easier? Thank You!!!
