In our environment it was decided to disable the SCNotification.exe process on
a small collection of servers. These servers run our Citrix environment. Each
user that logs on starts a new SCNotificaiton.exe process which takes approx.
12MB of memory. This number multiplied a lot is using too many memory
resources on our terminal servers. Unfortunately the below link does not seem
to be doing the trick. SCNotification.exe process still starts every time a
user logs into a terminal session. Have any of you had success or know of any
resources that may have a different tactic to disable this process from
starting up?
