Anyone ever see this error. sfc /scannow returns: "There is a system repair pending which requires a reboot to complete. Restart windows and run sfc again"
Now my server will not boot into the OS. Just recovery mode. Windows Server 2008 R2. I think it happened either after a reboot, or after patches were applied and the system was rebooted. Rebooting doesn't help, and I've exhausted the google machine. I've tried plus a ton of other things: sfc /scannow /Offbootdir=c:\ /Offwindir=c:\windows I have a no backup of this server. It's not a production box, but now I'm just curious and would like to find a fix. Thanks in advance!
