Hmm whats your client install cmd? You using /mp at all? If I remember it
should use http unless it can't then it attempts smb. Logs like yours is trying
smb.

I was able to determine this was an issue with my MP. However, I now have a new
error - thus updating the subject.

Source \\SCCMSRV\SMSClient is inaccessible (67)

Getting closer!

I did create a boundary group. Under the Assignment properties I have added my
IP ranges. On the references tab I have assigned my primary site and selected
"use this boundary group for site assignment"

If you want/have to use boundaries for assignment, make sure you have boundary
groups setup with sites assigned accordingly.

Client can’t contact AD? Try including the site code and server address in the
command line options for client push.

Subject: [mssms] Client Push failure - Failed to get assigned site from AD

I'm attempting to deploy the CM12 client to all systems in my environment. When
doing so, I get the following errors using Client Push:

<![LOG[Failed to get assigned site from AD. Error
0x80072020]LOG]!><time="14:10:44.352+300" date="06-06-2013"
component="ccmsetup" context="" type="2" thread="5628" file="ccmsetup.cpp:260">

<![LOG[Couldn't find an MP source through AD. Error
0x80072020]LOG]!><time="14:10:44.363+300" date="06-06-2013"
component="ccmsetup" context="" type="1" thread="5628" file="ccmsetup.cpp:4643">

My SCCM 2012 server has full permissions to the Systems Management Container,
my client push account has local admin rights...using IP ranges for boundaries.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Brian
