Stefanie,

1. Do the ConfigMgr client logs also show that a status message is sent
to its Management Point?

2. Have you examined the Management Point’s IIS logs to see if there are
any non-HTTP 200 status codes being returned for client requests?

3. Is this happening across all client systems, or a specific subset of
them?

4. What does your infrastructure configuration look like?

5. What version of ConfigMgr are you running?

6. Is there a primary or secondary site that may not be replicating data
up the hierarchy? (check SMS_Executive service status, and Site Status)

Cheers,

Subject: [mssms] Successfully running advertisements but aren't reporting back
the status

I'm having an issue with some clients that are successfully running
advertisements but aren't reporting back the status. They show up in SMS
reports as "Accepted - no further status".

One of these nonresponsive clients that has had a software deployment success
shows the following symptoms:

clispy --> I can see success for the advert in the software distribution
history tab

policyspy --> I can't see the policy (actual) listed under the machine (it was
a machine based software distribution)

Client logs --> I can see the policy arrive and the program being executed
successfully

Can anyone give me ideas on where to start with this one?
