Yeah from reading and researching, it’s looking for WAIK and not ADK, etc.
I might just have a reason to migrate to Server 2012. WAIK vs ADK and WinPE 3.x vs WinPE 4.0. No word on a new Dell tool version, but we’re looking at migrating SCCM to 2012 in prep that the Dell tool might require it as well as the HP tool. We have both HP and Dell servers. For now though, we deploy so few physical servers anymore, we’re moving forward with our migration and will one off the physical stuff if it comes up with WDS and some manual install after the fact. Sucks, but we can’t wait. It seems this issues isn’t present, if you aren’t on SP1. There is a newer version (7.2) from HP that fixes the compatibility issues with SP1. Does anyone have a workaround…the newer version requires Server 2012 (I’m not migrating to it just yet).
