Jason, Thanks for the help. I changed the properties of the certificate to be server authenticating only and could install the SCCM2012 client.

Are you sure these certs need to be client auth certs? Shouldn't they be just server auth as they are servers authenticating clients? They are Lync servers. Both servers have a different UID (hardware ID)(they are on VMware), Windows SID, mac ..., that I already checked. Tried already a lot of things but can't get it solved. The last thing I did was: Ccmsetum.exe /uninstall on both servers. Servers removed from SCCM console/database (they were AD discovered) Folders c:\windows\ccm en c:\windows\ccm deleted C:\windows\smscfg.ini and C:\windows\smsadvancedclient.clp1043.mif deleted certificates under Certificates (local computer) => SMS deleted Both servers imported in SCCM with name, mac and SMSBIOS Guid Then installed Sccm client by client push But still they get the same GUID in SCCM. We are on Sccm 2012 SP1 and the servers are Windows 2008R2 with all windows updates.
