Is the problem to do with app-v creating shortcuts on the desktop? That would lie in the sequencing then.

Currently I am running SCCM 2007 R3 with App-v 4.6 SP1 (it's the lastest app-v for 2007) We are working on building 2008R2 RDS servers and would like to redirect the Desktop to a read only folder. I am having issues getting APP-V to work while the Desktop is redirected. Wondering if this is fixed in SCCM 2012 and APPV 5. Or if someone knows a work around. Thanks Matt
