I have an interesting problem, I'll see if I can describe it well enough.

So it seems Windows PE and Windows proper are enumerating the ports on my Intel
NIC in my PowerEdge R620 differently. f0-3 are the last part of the MAC for
each interface.

BIOS and windows PE say:
f0 - pxe on - connected (the server boots to this interface every time via PXE
and applies wims and downloads other packages fine until the 'setup windows and
configmgr' step.
f1 - no pxe - disconnected
f2 - no pxe - connected
f3 - no pxe - disconnected

after windows boots for the first time and I can get in Windows says
f0 - disconnected
f1 - connected
f2 - disconnected
f3 - connected

This kills the second half of my TS on R620s because DHCP reservations are tied
to 'f0', Windows never gets an IP. TS works fine on an M610, for example. I
realize I can just change the bios to match windows and get around this on this
server, but I'd hate to have to install windows on every other server just to
find out which interface it will think is connected after the fact, then image
it again... any ideas?

Todd
