Sanity Check: When I run the “Create Task Sequence Media” wizard from a console connected our CAS, the resultant media refuses to connect to the MP to get policy. When it fails, the logs indicate problem with the certificate authority (we’re in native mode):
AsyncCallback() WINHTTP_CALLBACK_STATUS_SECURE_FAILURE Encountered dwStatusInformationLength is 4 *lpvStatusInformation is 0x8 WINHTTP_CALLBACK_STATUS_FLAG_INVALID_CA is set Error. Received 0x80072f8f from WinHttpSendRequest. sending with winhttp failed; 80072f8f When the exact same process is run from a console connected to the primary, everything works just fine. (All other operations performed on the CAS work as well.) I just want to make sure this is a known issue – or a ‘feature’ – and not just me. Cheers!
