Are you referring to the MicrosoftPolicyPlatformSetup.msi authenticode
signature error for 2012 SP1 clients? I don't know of any other issue like this
that plagued many people.
"Couldn't verify 'C:\WINDOWS\ccmsetup\MicrosoftPolicyPlatformSetup.msi'
authenticode signature. Return code 0x800b0101" in the ccmsetup.log

They released a hotfix for this one shortly after and updated the media on
1/25/2013.

and then it was also included in CU1 for 2012 SP1.

Subject: [mssms] ConfigMgr 2007 Client.MSI cert expired

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to standup a ConfigMgr 2007 SP2 R3 site to test some migration
scenarios to 2012. My clients in my lab are failing to install the agent with
the client.msi issue that plagued 2012 earlier this year.

Does anyone know if there is a hotfix for 2007 to correct this issue? I don't
have access to MSDN or anything to get any updated media.

Thanks!

Eric Morrison
