2007?

resetkeyinformation=true

what happens if you re-deploy the client with that setting?

I'm touching quite a bit of our environment, internal to external....can't say
numbers but it's high and being the only sccm person, this has me on the edge
and trying to train two internal with no SCCM experience...god help me.

So I did all of that Michael, but that client looking for a signed cert on the
new server, it just doesn't exist. I assumed after the site reset and pointing
SCCM to the server, the cert would be created. But I am not sure...

Subject: [mssms] move of sql db

In the time of placing 2012 online, our db has grown quite a bit, why?! No
idea, but I'm up to a 150 gig DB. I found a link that describes the process on
moving the db to a new server. All of the process has been conducted, backup,
restore, SPs executed, and CLR enabled. Now when I go into site reset, I select
the sql db, provide the new name of the server and during the process (wpf) I
see this in the log file:

I've verified that the computer account is in the local admins, but when I look
at the certs on the primary I see the configmgr sql cert and on the new server,
there is no configmrg sql cert only a client cert. I didn't see in the link
about creating a cert.

Here's the link I went by:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/configurationmgr/archive/2013/04/02/how-to-move-the-configmgr-2012-site-database-to-a-new-sql-server.aspx

Thanks,
