Have you tried adding variable for _SMSTSMediaType = "Prestaged Media" in the
task sequence to force it to run local? Or try using _SMSTSRunFromDP =
False??

When I boot off of the pre-staged media the TS fails immediately but works fine
from a USB key.

Attached is my Logs

How can I get my BOOT.WIM to work from the local hard disk?

What extra steps do you have to add to the task sequence to get UEFI to work
with Pre-Staged media?

When I apply my Pre-Staged Media to the device it just says no disk available
to boot.

I’m am sure I have to run some BCDEDIT commands but not sure what needs to be
done.

Thanks for the second set of eyes, though the check box didn't fix it.

I am not running in Native Mode.

Has anyone else deployed pre-staged media to a UEFI device successfully?

Silly question, but have you tried checking the “make this the boot disk”
option?

Are you in native mode? As you make progress with prestage media, I’d love to
hear your experiences… I’ve had trouble getting it to work as advertised.

I would like to use pre-stage media in SCCM 2012 with UEFI. Though when I
create GPT partitions with pre-stage the machine wont boot.
Any thoughts?
