Or you could use a real monitoring tool like OpsMgr and not rely on SNMP.

Thanks Niall. So I will have to find SNMP trap generator tool and execute it 
when status filter rule detects new virus found event. I will play with it.

you could  use a status filter rule to run a program (to do your snmp action) 
when the event you are trying to detect occurs
