This could be a BIOS issue.  (I know it sounds crazy, but so does the problem 
description).  I have seen weird mouse issues on certain Dell computers be 
solved by upgrading the BIOS.

Ill try and explain this one… :)

Windows 7 64, ps2 mouse, click on something like the x to close a window or a 
link in an internet explorer…  You click on the x and unless you then move the 
mouse, the window does not close.  In Internet Explorer, same behavior.

Anyone ever heard of this issue? Solutions?
