Hmm, that wouldn't be too hard, it would be a query out to the site server during the TS but it shouldn't matter much. That gets me thinking though, maybe it doesn't have to be. I could run the step after it has cached the OS package and just query for files with .wim.
Thanks Phil, I will give that a shot. I don't believe there is a corresponding variable. Best thing I can come up with at the moment is writing a Powershell script that retrieves the OS image package properties from the list of task sequence dependencies. -Phil _________________________________________________________________ Phil Schwan | Technical Specialist, Enterprise Windows Services Project Leadership Associates | 2000 Town Center, Suite 1900, Southfield, MI 48075 Mobile: 419.262.5133 www.projectleadership.net<http://www.projectleadership.net/> [Description: Description: Description: Arrow email]Lead with Strategy. Has anyone seen or tried a way to get the .wim name of the OS image being applied as a task sequence variable? I would like to brand that to the registry if at all possible. I know with MDT/UDI you can do OSDImageName but that is the name of the image inside the .wim like Windows 7 Enterprise EN-US. Any ideas?
