Not sure if this helps but when I don't feel like digging into my favorites 
folders, I just type "supported configurations" and then the product name for 
whatever version it is. MS usually uses the words supported configurations in 
these articles and that seems to be the same in 2012 as well.

Server 2012 is only supported as a branch DP, not a standard DP:

We are currently using a Windows 2008 server as a distribution point for SCCM 
2007 R3.  Is Windows 2012 supported as a distribution point for SCCM 2007 R3?
