New System Center 2012 R2 and MDT 2013 releases are expected at Windows 8.1 in October.
At the same time, there will be an update to Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 that makes it ready to deploy. So the RTM that is available now is only for evaluation purposes.
