Hey folks,

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see any documentation in the Supported
Configurations for Configuration Manager
<http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg682077.aspx>  TechNet
documentation that indicate which versions of SQL Server Reporting Services
(SSRS) are supported for integration with the Reporting Services Point role.
The only documented "supported configurations" for Microsoft SQL Server are
in the context of the site databases for:

*         Central Administration Sites (CAS)

*         Primary Sites

*         Secondary Sites

Any thoughts on what the supported versions of SQL Server Reporting Services
(SSRS) are for ConfigMgr 2012 [including SP1 and R2]? I also checked the
whole Reporting in Configuration Manager
<http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg699377.aspx>  section of the
TechNet documentation. Not even the Planning for Reporting in Configuration
Manager <http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg712693.aspx>  document
has the information that I'm seeking.

Since the SSRS instance (along with the Reporting Services Point role) can
be installed separately from the server holding the SQL Server Database
Engine that hosts the ConfigMgr database, this has some potential
implications for mismatching SQL Server versions. I just want to make sure
that I understand what is / isn't supported.

Cheers,

Trevor Sullivan
