We used it for a client recently to enable the TPM during the OSD Task Sequence. It worked really well, but note that different commands are required for different models so the more models you have to support the more logic/tasks you'll need to employ.
The early steps needed were to enable the setup password, enable the TPM, and then activate the TPM. -Phil _________________________________________________________________ Phil Schwan | Technical Specialist, Enterprise Windows Services Project Leadership Associates | 2000 Town Center, Suite 1900, Southfield, MI 48075 Lync: 312.756.1626 Mobile: 419.262.5133 www.projectleadership.net<http://www.projectleadership.net/> [Description: Description: Description: Arrow email]Lead with Strategy. I am specifically interested in enabling the TPM chip, as our security office is interested in using Bitlocker. I found this doc: http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/extras/m/white_papers/20209083.aspx I'm just interested in hearing your stories of doing this, particularly with TPM. Any recommendations, gotchas, etc. Also, if we do enable TPM, is there more that needs to be done on the client?
