Hi Mark, I'm buys as always.
The RP must be installed by CM12. On top of that even if you could setup it up by an admin, it would have issues with the CM12 security and it would be a TON of work to upload the 300ish RDS and reset the data sources for each report. I'm curious what their issue is with CM12 setting up the RP and managing it? Just so there is no misunderstanding, this is for an initial installation of the site. In a SQL box with SSRS installed, the customer wants to copy the files over manually. I'm trying to find something that says it cannot be done that way on an initial install of the reporting point. After the role is installed I understand that this can be done.
