Question: Software Deployment Evaluation Cycle (in Default Client Agent): we've set that from the default to daily. There is an internal line of business who is (because this is "new" from Configmgr 07, Application deployments) very concerned that long term, this will be detrimental to the end user experience. They've asked for a custom client agent setting to make it longer than everyone else's in our environment. Note they have yet to do any large-scale piloting; so in order to get a feel for what this may or may not mean at a larger scale, I'm asking the community.
Has anyone else encountered issues to their environment or to their end user experience having application deployment re-evaluation be daily? Note that most of the other client-side evaluation cycles; we've shortened just about everything from the defaults. heartbeat = daily hinv = daily sinv = every 2 days software update re-eval = every 2 days so from an engineering perspective, we don't see a problem with software deployment eval cycle being shorter than the default; but I've been asked to solicit opinions--if your re-eval cycle isn't the default (weekly); what is it, and if you made it shorter, were there issues or benefits, and if you made it longer--why?
