First, as a caveat, I know that the scenario described below is not
supported.

In my current environment, the remote control application from CM07 was
being used stand-alone (rc.exe with command line specified by a wrapper
application).  After migrating to CM12, the wrapper app was updated to use
the new CM12 remote control binaries.

One particular user of remote control does so over Citrix.  After starting
to use the new CM12 remote control, the user is complaining of significant
delays in connecting to PCs.  Remote control works fine for everyone else.
In addition to citrix, the user has a relatively slow home internet
connection.

What are some options for optimizing the remote control experience for a
user in CM12?
