On the Capture User State step, do you have enable hardlinks checked?

Has anyone used the Hard Link in USMT during an OS Deployment using SCCM 2012 
(Win XP to Win 7)....Successfully?
It's just transferring the user profile folders but no settings.

Any links or documents would be greatly appreciated.
